Fossil Gen 5 is designed for those users who are looking for a high-performance and fast smartwatch. For this purpose, Fossil released this watch with 1 GB of RAM, while models such as Fossil Sport only have 512 MB of RAM. The Fossil Gen 5 looks beautiful, but its 44mm size feels a little too big for some people. This watch is designed in two models, Carlyle and Julianna, the latter being the most popular among women. The straps are also highly versatile, from silicone and leather models to stainless steel.
The rolling button on the right side of the bezel is used for scrolling in menus and there are two simple buttons on top and bottom of the rolling button which are programmable. Fossil Gen 5 comes with GPS and speaker. Fossil has not provided any information about the weight, but some websites reviewed this model as a heavy smartwatch.
